A year later, Hawkeye returned to oppose Sokovia Accords in Captain America: Civil War. This film cosed with him as an outlaw.

So, will Hawkeye becoame Ronin?

In the comics, the aftermath of Civil War had pushed Hawkeye to turn to a dark side. He then ditched his classic look, including the bow and arrow His fellow Avengers did not know who the hero was and Marvel Comics enjoyed drawing out the reveal for a long time.

MCUExchange has recently reported an exclusive scoop, which claims Hawkeye is going to adopt the identity in MCU also A particular event in InfinityWar is sure to shatter Clint Barton’s world. The question may be much darker than we think.

While fans can assume that the films will develop the idea differently as opposed to the comics, ‘Ronin’ will be a wandering samurai who has no master. It is a Japanese concept, and both casting details and photos from Avengers 4 have hinted that there are a few key scenes that will take place in Japan.

What Could Transform Hawkeye Into Ronin?

Infinity War will surely see Thanos invade Earth in pursuit of the Infinity Gems. The earth’s greatest Heroes are standing in the line of fire and Hawkeye has a lot to lose than any Avenger member. Thanos and Black Order would target an Avenger’s loved ones always.

While Hawkeye is not married in the comic books,  JossWhedon pulled the idea from Ultimate Universe.

In 2007’s Ultimates #7, Hawkeye’s superheroism led Black Widow to capture Hawkeye and murder his family. It was heartbreaking.

The MCU relationship between Black Widow and Hawkeye is different, but Marvel may lift the idea of killing Hawkeye’s family. It could be a way of raising the stakes and a reminder that superheroism has terrible costs. Maybe this will launch Hawkeye down the dark path of the Ronin

Will This Lead To “Secret Invasion”?

That story line was a race of alien shape-shifters called the Skrulls who invaded earth and replaced key superheroes with Skrull infiltrators. The reason why Hawkeye’s transformation is significant is that Clint Barton fought under the identity of Ronin during the comic book arc.

Set in the 1990s, the film will have Brie Larson’s powerhouse caught in an ancient war between the two alien empires. These are Kree and Skrull. Fans believe that Marvel has a long-term plan for the aliens and will build towards an Avengers: Secret Invasion movie.
