Batman: The Animated Series appeared in 1992 and was quickly perceived for its smart writing, complex characters, and strong plots. It was something of an abnormality for a kids’ show since it was neither oversimplified nor pandering. Rather, it demonstrated genuine issues and genuine results. This helped it pick up a following among grown-ups too. Furthermore, the writers didn’t disregard their adult viewers since there are a couple of grown-up jokes in Batman: The Animated Series that you may have missed as a youngster. We have them right here for you…

1. Revving the Harley

Harley Quinn tossed out sexual insinuation all over in The New Batman Adventures (which is the thing that The WB retitled Batman: The Animated Series when it moved over from Fox). In “Mad Love,” Harley chooses to lose the jumpsuit and put on something far more revealing, and inquires whether he wants to “rev up [his] Harley.” Now that’s a bit too much!

2. Harley’s Got Some Tasty “Cream”

“Beware the Creeper,” is in fact from The New Batman Adventures. However, since that series was only a continuation of Batman: The Animated Series on an alternate network, this is considered. In this, Harley takes her association with Joker to the very next level with some REALLY solid insinuation for a children’s show. She flies out of a whipped cream pie while endeavoring to entice “Mr. J”… and asks him if he wants to taste her “cream.”

3. Roxy Rocket

Roxy Rocket is a vamp. However, she is significantly more grown-up than everything else in the show. As a previous Hollywood double who couldn’t be insured any longer, she swung to crime to finance herself and her adventures. This isn’t that awful but she appears to discover sexual joy in all that she does. What’s more, she rode around on a rocket, which resembled a phallus.
