The Star Wars fans all over the world are experiencing an emotional surge about the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer that includes a particular four-legged fan.

The official Instagram account belonging to Gary, the French bulldog belonging to the late Carrie Fisher, had shared a very emotional photograph recently. We can see Gary watching one particular scene of the trailer where Fisher was onscreen as General Leia Organa, in the photograph.

The photo pulled the heartstrings of the fans, and the chemistry between Fisher and her companion was very strong. They were literally an inseparable duo and had shared a lot of loving and touching memories in the last few years.

Subsequent to Fisher’s sad demise, Gary went to live with Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd. Since March 2017, he has been living with Corby McCoin, Fisher’s assistant.

Ever since it came out on Monday night, The Last Jedi’s trailer has been all over the internet, and it comprises of several highly noticeable visuals. The scene involving Leia has greatly impacted fans and that’s something director Rian Johnson is hoping to carry over into the movie.

“I think Carrie gives a really beautiful performance in the film and… we obviously didn’t make the movie to be her final film, final Star Wars movie,” Johnson had said earlier. “Given that though, I think there are scenes that she has that are going to mean a lot to people. There are scenes that we have with her where now, not having her around, I watch them and … I’m really thankful that we have that and we can that to people.”

We hope that it would comfort a lot of Star Wars fans in the wake of the trailer suggesting that the face-off between Leia and Kylo Ren will be deadly.

This movie, it sends her off in a very amazing, amazing way.” Said John Boyega, the actor portraying Finn in the movie “She’s still kept alive in this franchise. She lives forever in a sense.”
