Apart from her acting career, she was fond of collecting jewelry. She had three types of diamonds which were gifted by her boyfriend. Her jewelry was auctioned and was sold for $156.8 million breaking all records. She wrote a book titled My Love Affair with Jewelry which was published in 2002.

This legend was born as Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor on the 27^th of February in 1932 in London, England to Francis Lenn Taylor and Sara Sothern. She died on the 23^rd of March in 2011 at the age of 79.
