Did Wonder Woman Just Wield A Lightsaber?

Wonder Woman movie meets Star Wars as Diana Prince holds a lightsaber in the new mash-up video. Wonder Woman is the year’s most successful movies and has broken many records following the smashing $100 million opening weekend in June. Gal Gadot-led superhero blockbuster has passed the $400 million mark at the domestic and international box offices, and through Friday, has earned more than $820 million globally.

While Wonder Woman was the No. 1 film at the domestic box office, it will face a challenge in December when Star Wars: The Last Jedi releases. Wonder Woman is proving in a new Star Wars mash-up video that she can wield a lightsaber.

In a fan video by YouTube user Recluse All Knight, Wonder Woman trades her sword for a yellow lightsaber in 3 Star Wars-mashup scenes from the film. The first scene shows Diana during a training session with General Antiope where she has a lightsaber battle with her aunt, who has a blue lightsaber. When Diana is caught off guard, her Bracelets of Submission do the job when Antiope tries to strike a blow on her with the Jedi weapon.

The next scene shows Wonder Woman after she crosses No Man’s Land and liberates a German-occupied village, but instead of using God Killer sword she is fighting enemies with a yellow lightsaber. The difference from this and the previous scene is that Diana is under intense fire, so her lightsaber, bracelets, and shield come in handy.

To wrap up the video, Wonder Woman is in her showdown with Ludendorff thinking her God Killer will rid the earth of the enemy that she thinks is Ares. There is a scene where Ludendorff gets her lightsaber, and she grabs it with both of her hands as he tries to impale her. As powerful as the Jedi are, it is unlikely that they would take one by the blade.

It is a fun concept that Recluse All Knight has put together with the Wonder Woman/Star Wars mash-up.
