Who is Daphne? Daphne Blake is a member of Mystery, Inc. She is recognized for her sense of style & fashion and Her fiery red hair. She comes from a very wealthy family. Daphne’s primary costume in the Scooby-Doo series consists of a purple dress, pink pantyhose, same purple colored shoes, and a green scarf.
Her initial appearance was in the animated television show Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! in 1969. Her first occurrence in comics was in Scooby-Doo. Where Are You? #1 in 1970. Gold Key published it.

As opposed to the other characters in the Scooby-Doo stories, she has undergone a fair role development. She started as a klutzy character and earned the name “Danger-Prone Daphne.” Later she would become a journalist, a fashionista, and a martial arts expert.

Her character development is a little difficult further because much of what occurs to her in other mediums is considered canon though it is never referenced as such.
