6. Rey Erso
Gossip has it that Jyn Erso from Rogue One and Rey are connected. It is simply one more one of those family fortuitous events that characterize the whole Star Wars franchise. Furthermore, Daisy Ridley said that because she’s white and got brown hair… it doesn’t mean that she’s her mother.
5. Maz Kanata Is Back
Having obviously vanished amid the assault on Takodana in The Force Awakens, Maz Kanata will return yet again for Episode VIII. What part she will play stays to be seen. However, in the event that Rey is looking for answers, she will apparently follow the trail back to one of the other individuals she’s met besides Luke who appears to know something about her.
