There are no more than a couple of months to go for Justice League to hit the cinemas, but, the DC fans are constantly bombarded by the tremors caused by the movie’s director. Earlier Zack Snyder helmed the filming before Joss Whedon took over for the post-production duties. Now Snyder had a frank talk about his association with the movie, and he stated that he is not obstructing anyone’s path.

A short while back, there was a piece about this latest Snyder movie on Wired. In that article, the director was quoted as saying that he has been focusing on a short film ever since he left the Justice League and he also spoke about his DC legacy. In response to a question about whether he is currently connected with Justice League, Snyder said, such an association would be “unfair in a lot of ways.”

“I’m at a place where I feel excited about it and I’m happy for my guys and I love these people that are working on it, and they’re my family and I think they’re doing an amazing job,” Snyder stated. “But I’ve kind of just let them do their thing.”

Warner Bros. has been telling fans in the past that Justice League is a Snyder creation. Snyder had earlier left the project after the news of his step-daughter Autumn’s sudden demise became public. She passed away suddenly, and that devastated the DCEU iconic director and his wife. He said that he and his wife would prefer staying away from Justice League and spending time with close people. That’s when Whedon was brought in to take care of the movie’s reshoots.

DC fans are now concerned regarding Snyder’s current association with Justice League and these comments from the director will further startle them. It was reported recently that Snyder is unlikely to be handling the press duties for the film at least initially, which means Whedon will have to deal with it. The film’s reshoots seem to be wrapping up as most of the cast members have completed their London schedules.

One of the movie’s actors, Joe Morton who played the role of Cyborg’s father Silas, recently spoke to Gamespotabout his experience of working with Snyder and Whedon.

“I enjoyed working with both directors. Joss Whedon was terrific and so was Zack Snyder,” Morton said. “Zack is intense about the work. He knows film inside and out. It’s very light-hearted and comic book-ish.”
