Our wait came to an end with the release of Wonder Woman solo film. This is a great reason to cheer about as this is the first even solo female superhero movie. That is an achievement which has not yet been matched by MCU despite the fans strongly requesting for it. Thus, the DC Extended Universe has created a path breaking film promoting gender equality, although Wonder Woman is by no means weaker. She has battled the mightiest of baddies and superheroes, most of whom were supposedly stronger than her. Are they really more powerful?
It is a battle that we have seen between legions of fans over last many decades and often fans take sides with their favorite superhero and try to show the other side inferior whenever comparisons happen between two groups of fans.
However, we know that every super character has some time tested powers, resilience and qualities which we come to know through their origin stories, thus, not a single character has ever proven to be the mightiest.
This perennial question about the prospective winner in a Superman v Wonder Woman battle was put forward to Gal Gadot in the Warner Bros. WBTV Brazil. Gadot emphatically replied that Wonder Woman will prevail and added, “It would be a tight one, but yes.”
These two have already fought each other in the comic books with each of them winning as well as losing on separate occasions.
Superman is an alien and he is way more powerful than any normal man on Earth, thus, he is expected to be the victor in any fight. However, Wonder Woman has shown that physical strength is not the only attribute required to win in a fight. Just the way Gadot mentioned, Wonder Woman has beaten Superman several times because she is well versed with combat skills and she plans her battles.
The fact that she has weapons provided by the Gods helps her, but, she still has a great advantage going into a battle with Superman without those weapons too. After all, she is an Amazonian Goddess and an alien is not that big a deal for her (Diana has her bracelet on at all times, therefore, she never fully unleashes her powers on anyone).
