The new Flash solo movie has gone through many ups and downs in past few months. It lost its “multiple-confirmed” directors, then they had to dump the script, and now finally in the comic-con, Warner Bros announced that the first Flash movie is going to be about the highly controversial DC comics plot “Flashpoint Paradox.” It was one of the most successful “Big Events” in the comic book universe that also got an epic DC animated movie.
Flashpoint Paradox changes pretty much everything in the DC universe; it converts many Superheroes into Supervillains and vice versa! Flash runs back in time to stop her mother’s death, but when he does that he also changes a lot many things in the timeline. Bruce Wayne is dead, his father becomes Batman, and her mother turns into Joker. Wonder Woman kills Aquaman wife Mera, and their battle creates a big disaster in the world. Superman’s ship falls into the hands of Government, and now he is Sun-Deprived weak alien. Flash and Batman’s father Thomas Wayne join hands to make things right in their world.
Wonder was one of the villains in the Flashpoint Paradox, and recently Forbes released a report that hints Wonder Woman’s involvement in Flash’s movie. Last year it was confirmed that Cyborg would play a significant part in the film, and now after the massive success of Wonder Woman, we won’t be surprised if Diana Prince shows up in the mangled world of Flashpoint Paradox. But the question is, are they really going to follow the plot from comics religiously? Because if that happens, everything is going to change and new fantastic players are going emerge!
However, everything is up in the air except the name of the movie and Cyborg’s involvement in the film. Warner Bros at a priority needs to find a right director for the film who is still missing! And they need to throw out a confirmed date for the movie as well. May be they are waiting for the response of the audience on Justice League, because if they things don’t work out for the DC Cinematic universe, WB can always reboot it using Flash’s movie, and that could be one of the potential reasons they are holding back on the release date. Whatever may be the cause, it would be really amazing to see how things pan out for the DC Cinematic universe in the upcoming years. They have released their ambitious roster for the upcoming films which has got all the DC pumped to see what happens next after the groundbreaking success of WONDER WOMAN! At this point, all we can say is -> “FINGERS CROSSED.”
