It seems Avengers are getting ready to join ranks with X-Men and Fantastic Four now that Stan Lee has confirmed that Marvel is going after the rights.

While the comic books have already seen X-Men and Fantastic Four being a part of the Avengers alongside Captain America and his team, however, things have been different in the films.

The movie rights of X-Men and Fantastic Four are with Fox, but, things might be set to change soon.

Comic Book spoke to the Marvel creator Stan Lee at Wizard World Nashville last weekend about the topic.

The 94-year-old veteran stated: “Sooner or later, they’re going to get the rights back to all our characters.”

Lee also said: “They’re working on it, and they’re still making X-Men movies and stuff. Don’t worry about it.

“You’ll get more Marvel superheroes than you’ll have time to look at in the next few years.

Earlier in May, Marvel movie producer Kevin Feige had also suggested about such a possibility happening in MCU in the times to come.

He had said: “My goal is to replicate the experience that comicbook fans have reading the books up on the screen. We’ve been able to accomplish that beyond my wildest dreams over the last ten years.”

Feige added: “And certainly, including Spidey in [Captain America] Civil War, in the upcoming [Avengers] Infinity War, is yet another dream that I didn’t even dare to talk about publicly, because I thought the odds of it were very slim.

So no plans beyond that for the few remaining characters that aren’t already in the MCU, but never say never. Who knows what can happen in the future?”

Avengers: Infinity War will have a UK release on April 27, 2018 which will be followed by Avengers 4 on April 26, 2019.
