In less than two weeks, the next Star Wars film will be here. This is going to be a historic first for the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as it is going to be the first standalone film from the Star Wars universe and hopefully this is the trend that we will see getting repeated bi-annually. The Rogue one features a new set of characters that are unrelated to the Skywalker bloodline, some of the iconic characters will also be seen in it.

The most prominent of those characters is Darth Vader who has not appeared on the big screen since his short cameo in Revenge of the Sith. The hard core fans might observe that Vader has been seen in various suits across the films and the reason behind his varying appearance is now known to us.

The visual effects supervisor John Knoll has earlier been associated with the prequel trilogy and also the reboots of the original movies. He is the executive producer of Rogue One and also supported the creation of the story. He recently revealed Why the films have shown various versions of Vader’s costume.

“I figure he’s got more than one version of those outfits. The reason the armor looks a little grungier and dented up in A New Hope is you’re not going to wear your nice armor into battle. You’re gonna wear your beater armor into battle. Then, if you’re going to go talk to the Emperor or something you put on the nice shiny one, show some respect.”

Well, that’s true. Darth Vader has a full stash of his signature suits and his collection is probably the most awesome wardrobe in the galactic history.

Although, you won’t really find much link between Darth Vader and respect or hygiene, he surely is a methodical person. Under the tutelage of Jedi Order, Anakin Skywalker learned to respect hierarchy. Although Vader is among the cruellest and deadliest villains in the Star Wars saga, he has a master – The Emperor. Whenever he goes to meet Emperor Palpatine, Vader wears a suit that is polished and shines more compared to the suit that he wears when he goes on to fatally choke his subordinates or rivals.

There is no doubt that Rogue One must have a good dose of the right Vader. Previously, the audiences of Star Wars saw their beloved Vader in Return of the Jedi.We saw how the terrifying evil guy was shown to be compassionate and had risked himself in order to save Luke and the Galaxy.

However, the Vader in Rogue One is not the aberration. He is going to be his evil best and that’s what the audiences love too. There has been a lot of improvement in the visual effects and we will be seeing the Sith Lord use the force in a big way. There is going to be some terrific telekinesis and lightsaber duels and that’s the only way to regale the audience which is craving for the iconic Vader.
