If you love anything about DC, then we don’t need to tell you that Harley Quinn is quite an icon there. She features in films, cartoons, toys and almost everything else. Also, there is no way that you can toss a pea at Comic-Con that won’t hit at least a dozen people attired as Harley. If you wish for a comic as crazy as Harley is then you don’t need to look beyond the book with her name on it. She is a resident of Coney Island, has crazy pals and in the latest storyline, she even stood up to be the mayor of New York City. Do you want to know how that happened? Go ahead and grab a copy of Harley Quinn #31, that released on Wednesday.

The major DC comic event this fall is called Metal, and presently, the Dark Knight is grappling with the Dark Multiverse. Batman: Lost is a Metal linked book that released this week, and it depicts the Batman’s struggle to free himself. If you are not familiar with the comics then you will get more confused than Bruce; however, the artwork has been done by the best hands in the business, and if you love adventure then you might just pick it up and jump right into the madness.

Next week, we will see The Justice League movie release and DC has declared Saturday, November 18 to be Justice League Day. Comic outlets and other stores will be giving away free copies of the 2011 special edition of Justice League #1. The story was written by the DC Films head Geoff Johns and designed by legendary Jim Lee, and it is a great hop on point for new comic book readers with the plot having various common factors with the upcoming film.
