There are still no words on when The Punisher will be released on Netflix, but fans are learning more about this show. SFX Magazine has recently confirmed a familiar face from Luke Cage and Daredevil that will be there in the upcoming series.
On Tumblr, the latest SFX Magazine issue hit the Internet and has a bit on The Punisher. It features a new image of the series which has Frank Castle in dark clothing. The man has a gun pointed to Turk Barrett’s head, and the runner does not look happy about being accosted.
In the photo’s caption, Turk will be in Argo’s warehouse and run into Frank. The latter will be looking for a cheap smartphone, and Turk is either the man peddling the tech or the one trying to steal it.
Turk may not be the main character in the Marvel series, but he is a recurring one like Claire Temple. The villain appeared in Daredevil’s debut and continued to come up throughout seasons one and two.
The Punisher may even see Turk meet with Frank for the first time, but the criminal has talked up the vigilante before. When fans last saw the baddie, Turk was then working for Diamondback so The Punisher could feature a lead-in for Luke Cage’s second season if Turk starts to talk.
