In the nick of time to board the train for the build-up one year from now, Square Enix has uncovered the Marvel Universe Variant Play Arts Kai Black Panther Figure.

Just like all Play Arts Kai Variant Figures, the Black Panther figure is vigorously styled with an extraordinarily designed adaptation of the Black Panther costume.

Here’s the official portrayal of the Marvel Universe Variant Play Arts Kai Black Panther Figure from the Square Enix store:

“Black Panther has become a world-renowned comic book character as one of Marvel’s most popular Avengers. While he fights under the guise of the mysterious Black Panther, he’s actually T’Challa, King of the technologically advanced African Kingdom of Wakanda.

This Variant figure has a wide range of motion while showing off his massive, yet dignified, physique. Black Panther’s suit is carefully crafted with utmost importance placed on utilizing unique materials to mirror its comic book counterpart. A hard material is used to express the special metal, known as Vibranium, that makes up his nearly unbreakable armor. Meanwhile, the inner layer of his suit is made of cloth that stretches to show off his muscular body. The colors help bring out just how much of a contrast there is between the shine of the armor and the elasticity of the cloth.

Multiple shades of black are adorned with silver accents, including his iconic necklace, helping provide contour and shine across his body. This figure’s interchangeable and highly expressive parts allow you to customize him, while staying true to the charm and appeal of Black Panther’s sharp and enigmatic persona.”

Black Panther presently has a 4.03 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating. This makes it the seventh most highly anticipated forthcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers.

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is based on T’Challa who, after the demise of his dad, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the remote, technologically propelled African country to take up the royal throne and assume his legitimate position as ruler.

Yet, when an effective old adversary returns, T’Challa’s guts as ruler and as Black Panther are put to test. As it is, he is drawn into an imposing clash that puts the destiny of Wakanda and the whole world at hazard.

Confronted with foul play and threat, the young lord must rally his partners and release the full energy of Black Panther to overcome his adversaries and secure the wellbeing of his kin and their lifestyle.

Black Panther is has been directed by Ryan Coogler and has a screenplay by Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. Black Panther features Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther along with Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
