The news is not good for the ardent Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series. Netflix is taking all six seasons of this show-off, and thus, it won’t be that easy to catch up with this story of Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker’s friendship. The series will be off Netflix after Thursday, September 7, bringing to an end an iconic show being streamed by Netflix.

However, all is not over for the Star Wars fans as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will continue to stream with no plans to end it as of now. Therefore, you can at least be assured to witness the fate of Jyn Erso and her new allies.

The rights of streaming The Clones Wars were bagged by Netflix in 2014, including its brand new sixth season titled, “The Lost Missions”. The move happened a good two years after the series was discontinued by the Cartoon Network.

What’s not yet known is whether this move is in response to the recent Disney announcement about shifting all its titles from Netflix to its own upcoming streaming platform in 2019. However, the fact that Netflix is continuing with the film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which is a prequel to this TV series, we doubt that could be the case at all.

Here we must also note that this series was to have been taken down by Netflix way back in March 2016 itself, but, somehow managed to prolong its stay for well over a year. Therefore, you never know if it gets another extension, but, chances are not too high this time around.

You can continue watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Netflix till 7th September.
