Star Wars: Does THIS Snoke scene showcase Kylo Ren will swing to the Light in The Last Jedi?

Ever since The Force Awakens was released in 2015, Star Wars fans have been thinking about whether Kylo Ren will swing to the Light side of the Force or if Snoke will swing Rey to the Dark.

Currently, Star Wars theory Mike Zeroh figures he’s recognized a piece of information on Kylo Ren’s future transformation, after looking at a Snoke scene from Episode VII and The Force Awakens’ novelisation.

In his recent YouTube video he says:

“I do believe that Kylo Ren had deep regret after the destruction of the Hosnian system. He didn’t want Snoke to destroy the Ileenium system, which is where the Resistance base resides D’Qar.”

He further proceeded:

“There was a very interesting scene in The Force Awakens that led me to believe in all of this. And that’s when Hux brings up the idea to Supreme Leader Snoke, that they should support the government that supports the Resistance, The Republic. Snoke agrees with Hux’s idea. Both Hux and Kylo Ren exchange very odd looks. It’s as if Kylo Ren is saying, ‘What the hell are you doing? Why are you doing this? Why are you giving Snoke these ideas?’ Now I want to go over the script. Snoke says, ‘Good then we will crush them once and for all. Prepare the weapon.’ Kylo Ren is stunned by the moment. That isn’t what he meant at all.”

Zeroh then added:

“Now if we look at The Force Awakens novelisation, this is where I believe Kylo Ren didn’t want the Ileenium system to be destroyed. So Snoke says, ‘I want the entire Ileenium system destroyed. Daring to disagree, Ren took a step forward. ‘No Supreme Leader, I can get the map from the girl and that will be the end of it. I just need you guidance.’

I do believe that Kylo Ren knows that his own mother, General Leia, is on the planet D’Qar…[but I don’t think] Snoke knows this. [Kylo Ren] doesn’t want his mother to die. That is another reason why, Kylo Ren pursues Rey all the more after this whole entire conversation.”

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK silver screens on 14th December, 2017.
