It is quite strange to speak of the 9th installment when even the 8th one is yet to release. But this is Star Wars we are talking about and its fans are as intriguing as the series itself. The director, Colin Trevorrow, has been leaking out teasers in his interviews every now and then. In his more recent interview with the ScreenRant for the promotion of his upcoming movie, The Book of Henry, he admitted that the upcoming final installment in The Force Awakens trilogy will end on an ’emotionally resonant’ note.
The Jurassic World director is all pumped up to team up with J.J.Abrams, Rian Johnson, and Lucasfilm. Though the interview was for The Book of Henry, questions about Star Wars 9 were most expected and Trevorrow was up with an answer for almost everything. It will be interesting to see three directors coming together for one single project. As has been the whole series, the final installment too will be a treat to watch for the fans.
Trevorrow showed his class by offering a few words of praise for his fellow directors. He said,
“The process of Star Wars began way back in August of 2015 when I looked at what J.J. and Rian had done and I’m very fortunate that I’m surrounded by some really, really brilliant producers and brilliant creative minds, Kiri Hart and the Lucasfilm story group and my producer (Michelle) Rejwan and Kathy Kennedy and also J.J. and Rian, Larry Kasdan.”
He had some words for the fans as well. He disclosed off his plans for the final installment through a very limited choice of words. He said,
“I mean, these are the best minds available and everybody’s engaged in making sure this is the most satisfying and emotionally resonant conclusion that we can possibly deliver.”
The loss of Carrie Fisher has dealt a huge blow to Trevorrow already as she had an important role to play in the movie. It seems though he is all up for it and will deliver the perfect end to an utterly perfect trilogy.
As for now, we are ages away from the release of the final installment, which is slated to be on 24th May, 2019, and figuring out what is in store for us ain’t an easy task. But we’ll bringing up every bit for you to let you know of the possibilities we’re going to witness in the end.
