STAR WARS 8 The Last Jedi will see Snoke go about as a ‘Force parasite’ who siphons off Kylo Ren’s power, as per a stunning new fan hypothesis.
In the course of the most recent couple of months, many spills and gossipy titbits have grown concerning the genuine character of Supreme Leader Snoke. One such rumor is that the miscreant is a Force parasite, who is utilizing Kylo Ren for his power.
This would tie in with a past break proposing that Snoke is an ancient being who lives by jumping into bodies. This is similar to Apocalypse in the most recent X-Men prequel. Furthermore, Mike Zeroh, the Star Wars theorist expounds on this idea in his recent YouTube video.
He states;
“I have a belief that there is more to Snoke than what we have seen already in The Force Awakens and the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. “Now Kylo Ren and Snoke, we do know that they are on the same side, we do know that Snoke converted Kylo Ren from Ben Solo.
He’s been watching over him ever since he was an embryo in Leia herself, which is really, really disturbing. So what is Snoke after? What is his true motive in the sequel trilogy? Snoke could very well be a Force parasite. He could be a body snatcher where he is looking at Kylo Ren as this candidate where he can rejuvenate himself by Essence transfer.
We did see this in the old Star Wars Expanded Universe – there was a piece in the Dark Empire No 1 comic where Emperor Palpatine insists to Luke Skywalker that he would join his body and rule the galaxy as one, together.
I think we could get something very much similar to that in the sequel trilogy since Disney and Lucasfilm are cherry picking from the old Expanded Universe. Not saying that Snoke is going to successfully complete his task, I think that he is going [reveal] his motive.”
He further added:
“It could tie into what he says in The Force Awakens, when he says, ‘It is time to complete his [Kylo Ren’s] training. I think it’s very much possible that Snoke is looking for a new corpse to inhabit – to essentially fully utilize his powers.
[So] in The Last Jedi he could become all the more powerful by the time Star Wars: Episode IX releases. If you look at what Han Solo told Kylo Ren on the catwalk on Starkiller Base, he did in fact say, ‘Snoke is using you for your power. When he gets what he wants, he will crush you!’
When it comes to Snoke, he definitely has been looking over this character for a very long time and I think that could be why he’s very much disappointed in his defeat against the scavenger, Rey.”
He continued;
“I’m also finding it very interesting as to why Snoke is now interested in the girl. Could he want something from her now perhaps? Maybe he wants her to defeat Kylo Ren? Who knows…but I think that a great way to turn Kylo Ren from the Dark to the Light would be Kylo Ren figuring out Snoke true motive…[for him].”
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK silver screens on 14th December, 2017.
