J.K. Rowling is the most successful author of our times, but, she is not lagging much in notching up significant tweeting achievements as well.

She is renowned for her positive, inspirational messages on twitter, but, once she was trolled by some right-winger trolls on the net and how she owned them in response was savage, to say the least.

This is what Rowling had tweeted a couple of years back to support the refugees landing in Europe:

Almost immediately she was attacked by a right-wing troll (Rowling was quite broke before she wrote to glory and fat bank balances with HP):

This tweet went viral and was soon trending enough for coming to Rowling’s notice. She tweeted him back, and it made people feel that she was just fooling around:

It turns out, the writer of Wizards meant every word of that tweet:

She had researched Luke Kockura, the person who trolled her and had discovered that Luke wasn’t doing well in his bid to make the mortgage payments of his tiny abode in Sheffield, England. It was evident that he had no more than a couple of years to either turn the tide or to lose the house to foreclosure.

Not only that, Rowling kept a close tab on everything that happened to Luke in the next two years, and as was feared, things got worse, and Rowling made her move. She repossessed the house by taking over Kocura’s mortgage and is now the owner of the house where he lived.

After that came the celebration that marked the culmination of a two-year game and this is what she tweeted to him on occasion:

Now, is there ever a more vindictive way to own someone totally!

A two-year chase involving repossession of someone’s house is what makes Rowling an opponent you don’t want to take on.
