The women of MCU have now united, and it is great. Marvel had held a gathering of more than 80 MCU stars for a photoshoot to celebrate their 10th anniversary next year. Some of the photos have made way online including one that highlights their female heroes.

The image features Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy), Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), DanaiGurira (of upcoming Black Panther), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp in Ant-Man 2) and PomKlementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2).

The image does not gather all the women of MCU, but it does gather a fine group. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen ), Nakia, Ramonda (LupitaNyong’o), Maria Hill (CobieSmulders), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) missing. And of course, e cannot miss the absence of Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter. This proves that Tessa Thompson’s pitch to Kevin Feige for an all-female movie is viable.

“We were just sort of all in a semicircle talking, and it just came up, because none of us worked together…And we were speculating on they ways in which it might happen in Infinity War, or might not happen, and we thought, ‘No, we should just have a whole movie where we know every day we’re going to arrive and get to work together.’ So we just ran right up to Kevin Feige and started talking about it.”

We are sure to see more photos from the photoshoot next year. With many stars in one room, a whole lot of amazing things are bound to happen.
