A new animated movie is coming from Marvel Television and will feature a roster of characters. Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors will be a new franchise and will star Spider-Gwen, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake, Patriot, Inferno, America Chavez, Captain Marvel, and Inhuman Exile. The movie will arrive in 2018.
“This feature [film] is an evolution of all of the great characters that people have come to love,” Marvel Content Director Sana Amanat told Buzzfeed. “It came out of a desire to be able to tell stories about characters that we think are the next great heroes of the Marvel universe.”
KathreenKhavari, who voices Ms. Marvel in Avengers: Secret Wars, will return as will Chloe Bennet as Quake. MilanaVantrub will voice Squirrel Girl. Dove Cameron provides the voice of Spider-Gwen, and Teen Wolf’s Tyler Posey will voice Inferno. Kamil McFadden will voice Patriot, and Descendants star, Booboo Stewart will voice Exile. Rounding out the cast is Kim Raver as Captain Marvel, Dee Baker as Tippy Toe the Squirrel and Lockjaw the Dog, and Ming-Na Wen as Hala.
