The fresh Star Wars: The Last Jedi photographs try to show Kylo Ren ushering Rey to Supreme Leader Snoke and other scenes from the movie. Just about three weeks are left for the Episode VIII’s release, and Lucasfilm is ramping up their marketing frenzy with a lot of advertising material coming online. While they have done great at keeping the story unrevealed, new TV spots and posters have got the fans talking.

Star Wars 8 promotions have been a year-long event. Earlier this year, many publications such as EW posted their detailed spreads about the film showing photos and details. As we get close to December, EW is again doing it, and they have some fresh photos to raise the tempo for The Last Jedi.

Today, they started rolling out they’re (probably) the last bit of coverage before the film’s release. There is a gallery of some exclusive photos of scenes from earlier trailers and TV spots. But, a lot of them are new. Check them out below:

However, the most fascinating is a photo showing Snoke’s ornamental throne room with Kylo Ren in the background as Rey is standing focused nearby. This might be a scene from the full trailer showing the young hunter being tortured by the Supreme Leader. Daisy Ridley has said that Rey’s meeting with Snoke is a kind of test and the context of this scene will be interesting to find out. Rey looks determined as she stares at the villain. However, it can’t be guessed if she is there freely or as a captive. Lucasfilm is hinting at the possibility of Rey turning to Kylo for guidance, and it could be a part of that development. It’s a mystery as where Luke Skywalker is during this development.

Other remarkable images are Luke supervising Rey’s lightsaber training from a distance on Ahch-To and an image of Finn, Rose Tico and BB-8 in the Canto Bight casino during their mission. While the adorable droid is accompanying Poe, BB-8 has experienced a lot with Finn as we saw in The Force Awakens. They have their own history, and we would love to watch them again. BB-8, who is probably the Buster Keaton of Star Wars might come up with something to beat his hilarious thumbs up. The Last Jedi is bound to be a much darker and serious movie than ever, but, levity will always be there throughout the 150-minute runtime.
