Netflix in association with Marvel Television is now progressing to make a new season of the Final Defender and production is set to start soon on Iron Fist Season Two.
The update has come via a production listing on SpoilerTV.com which has listed its shooting to commence on December 6, 2017. The exact dates might vary, but, we do look forward to a few scenes being filmed in New York City very soon.
Cast members such as Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey will make a comeback and also Sacha Dhawan as the expected villain of the season Davos. There is a good chance that Simone Missick will also reprise her role as Misty Knight and might even join Henwick’s Wing to create the Daughters of the Dragon.
Jones and Henwick have already begun for Season Two, and the Iron Fist actor confessed that he is pumped up for the new episodes as he has got more time to prepare for the combat scenes.
While fans are normally appreciative of the fight scenes in the various ongoing Marvel series on Netflix, Iron Fist and The Defenders were panned for failing to keep up the high standards. Apparently the new showrunner Raven Metzner is determined to make amends on that front in the upcoming episodes.
Danny Rand has appeared in The Defenders and now has a vast potential ahead of him for the Iron Fist Season Two. While the evil leader of the Hand has suggested that Kun-Lun didn’t really get obliterated, the secret army of undead ninja received a comprehensive defeat from the Defenders and their plan to unearth dragon bones below the New York City was halted.
We wonder what Rand and friends will do upon Iron Fist’s return? We could get an idea of the plans in Luke Cage Season Two which will have an appearance from Jones. Therefore, we will get another chance to see Heroes For Hire and let’s wait and watch to know whether Marvel is planning another mega team up for the future.
There is no release date scheduled yet for Iron Fist Season Two.
