Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have a cute little two and a half years old daughter, who is still young to understand what her parents do. But her mother, Bilson, wishes to keep it that way for a while because having Darth Vader as a father won’t be that pleasing for her daughter.
Speaking to People Magazine, the 35-year-old actress said,
“We’ll probably avoid that (introducing her and partner Christensen’s on-screen personas to her daughter) for as long as possible. Especially because her dad is who he is.”
Christensen, 36, is globally known for his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. Darth Vader in the final two movies of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Bilson has always spoken of the impact her husband’s on-screen persona has had on their off-screen life. She continued,
“She might be like, ‘Oh no! Darth Vader’s my dad!’ ” and then points out of her daughter with a laugh, “No one’s gonna mess with her on the playground.”
The actress shares an adorable bond with her toddler and enjoys every moment spent with her. From posting her baby’s cute Star Wars themed shoes to walking out make-up free now and then. Bilson’s transformation into an ideal mother has indeed been appreciable. She even admits that her “me time” is now a thing of past. She says,
“My me time is ‘we time’ now. It’s always about her. It’s not about lying out and watching a movie anymore. Those days are gone! I But I’m happy with the new version.”
There are a ton of sick people in the Star Wars fandom, who still curse Hayden on social media for playing Anakin in George Lucas’s Star Wars prequels, and it would be a really good idea to keep their daughter away from such jerks.
