Last weekend saw Indiana Jones’ spirit take over Harrison Ford when he came across a woman who had driven off the road and down an embankment. The Star Wars star had been at the airport earlier and was about to get to the freeway and was among the many bystanders who stopped to help the unidentified lady. They successfully rescued the woman from the wreckage of her car before paramedics arrived. TMZ had been the first to report the incident and revealed photos of Harrison Ford going down the slope to the aid of an unknown woman.

It was during a late Sunday morning drive in Santa Paula for Harrison Ford, and according to eyewitnesses, he was driving behind a woman heading east on California State Route 126 when she lost control of her vehicle and slammed down an embankment off the freeway. Ford pulled over alongside other witnesses, and they all climbed down to help rescue the woman. Authorities said that the woman was transported with only minor injuries and that’s quite fortunate as her car was just a few feet away from crashing down onto another road.

The legendary Han Solo star had been in a similar situation in September when he stepped out to help during a road crash in New York. Ford helped by directing traffic when an accident created a bottle-neck near the Midtown Tunnel. The incident’s footage rapidly went viral, and it showed how the 75-year-old star hurried out of his limo and took over the role of a traffic cop, at times forcibly directing cars out of a traffic line that had built up behind the tunnel after the car crash.

It’s not that he has always been on the helping side as he needed to be rescued himself in March 2015, when he was hurt during a crash landing at a Venice, California Golf Course, in the vicinity of Santa Monica Airport. He was airborne in a vintage WWI airplane. Earlier in 2017 as well, Ford was distressed after he landed his single-engine propeller aircraft on the taxiway of John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California. That incident had Ford flying directly above an American Airlines Boeing 737 jetliner carrying 116 people. He informed the Federal Aviation Administration officials about how he got distracted by a pair of jets which resulted in the nearly catastrophic scenario.

Talking about other news related to Harrison Ford, it was earlier said that his legendary character Han Solo would have a key part in The Last Jedi, despite having been killed by his son Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in the 2015 movie The Force Awakens. The film’s director Rian Johnson has said, “A figurative ghost of Han had to be present throughout this entire film.” Although, he won’t be featuring in the movie, his ghost will be there, and we will see Chewbacca manage things without his friend of several decades. Harrison Ford is also gearing up to reprise another of his legendary characters, Indiana Jones in a fresh film that would release before the actor reaches 80.
