George Foreman, the 68-year old iconic boxer has issued a challenge to the Hollywood Star Steven Seagal for a 10 round fight in Las Vegas. There is no information about what made Foreman go after Seagal. However, he has doubled down on his challenge now and suggested that this can be a pay-per-view fight. Foreman challenged Seagal via Twitter, but, the actor who became a Russian citizen last year, has not yet responded.

The motivation behind this ridiculous challenge could either be the huge amount of money made by Floyd Mayweather when he fought with UFC star Colin McGregor. However, some people believe that it could also have a political reason.

The 65-year old Seagal had last week blasted the latest NFL protests during an interview on a U.K. TV show. Seagal stated that he is a supporter of free speech, however, the behavior of NFL players is an imposition of their political loyalties and like a ransom threat to the United States and the world in general. Seagal said.

I think it’s outrageous. I think it’s a joke. It’s disgusting. I respect the American flag, and I myself have risked my life countless times for the American flag. I don’t understand or agree with this kind of behavior. I think it’s an outrage.”

Nobody can be sure about how did Seagal risk his life for the United States flag, however, he certainly looks a weirdo out for some business and in fact, he is pretty close to resembling a villain from a Steven Seagal film. He has constantly hogged the limelight since last year due to his links to Vladimir Putin, who bestowed upon Seagal a Russian citizenship in November 2016.

It is possible that George Foreman got offended by what Seagal had said about NFL and that’s why he challenged the martial arts veteran. Foreman challenged Seagal on Monday, tweeting rules which look similar to the rules of the fight between Mayweather and McGregor. Foreman would limit himself to boxing whereas Seagal has the freedom to choose any fighting style as long as he remains unarmed.

As per the tweet, it has to be a 10 round face-off. He further issued a series of tweets suggesting that their fight is likely to get two million pay-per-view purchases and such a claim makes us wonder if he has been hit too many times on the head to come up with such an estimate. To be fair, the best chances for this fight is to feature on MTV as a free to air Celebrity Death Match. This is what Foreman had said.

Steven Seagal, I challenge you, one on one, I use boxing. you can use whatever. 10 rounds in Vegas.”

The truth is, Foreman and Seagal are both Trump supporters. Therefore, it is illogical for the NFL controversy to have created a rift between them. Therefore, the only plausible reason could be money or dementia taking over George Foreman’s much-beaten head, and that’s quite understandable. While we can’t figure out the real reason behind the boxer challenging this Belly of the Beast actor, Foreman has stated that this would only be a “true fight” and it would have “no anger involved.”

While we haven’t seen Foreman in the ring for ages now and the weird looking Steven Seagal is happily living in his new country with his pal Putin. Therefore, irrespective of the reason, this story is still not complete. The insane fight may take place, but, certainly, won’t have the kind of audience that Foreman is cooking up in his head. We are currently waiting for the counter punch from Seagal, and in the meanwhile, you can check out the exact tweets which were issued by George Freeman’s Twitter account:
