The promo calls Goku’s power-up “a shock”. The anime has really been hyping the Saiyan’s transformation for more than one month, and fans are super eager to see it. There are many who feel that the reveal will not be as big as Dragon Ball Super is touting it to be.
Dragon Ball had very shocking moments since Akira Toriyama had created it. Goku’s first time going Super Saiyan had come out of nowhere as fans had not seen this before. Future Trunk’s takedown of MechaFreeza was also a “what the hell” moment, and when Goku died at the start of Dragon Ball Z, it was shocking.
