A new trailer for Dead by Daylight has confirmed that Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street will be the latest Killer who will join the game.
The asymmetrical multiplayer game has many Killers, some are original characters and others are pulled from horror films and Freddy Krueger, well, he will be one of the most menacing ones. He joins the ranks of some other Killers like Michael Myers and Leatherface.
Freddy Krueger’s trailer confirms that he will be available to Steam players on Oct. 26.

While it looks like PC players will be the first to play as Freddy Krueger before those on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the trailer does not lend a lot information on his in-game abilities.
The Killer’s in Dead by Daylight have a melee attack and a special power that differentiates them from others. The Trapper uses bear traps, Michael Myers has stalking abilities, and Leatherface uses his chainsaw.
Dead by Daylight has a straightforward gameplay for Killers that have chasing down Survivors, injuring them, and throwing them on a hook. Freddy Krueger may utilize a Dream World technique to cause hallucinations like The Doctor. His perks have not yet been revealed right now.
