Amid the Game of Thrones panel at Comic-Con, a fan asked Christie – who plays Brienne of Tarth in the dream show and Captain Phasma in the most recent Star Wars movies about who was more passionate.

Maybe obviously, she gave a discretionary answer.

She said;

“It’s not really a craziness, but the level of passion is pretty much equal. What is noticeable is that Star Wars is something many of us grew up with, which gives many of us a sense of hope. That’s how I feel – like I came home.

With Game of Thrones, we’re going into season seven now, and there’s a similar feeling. I hope that Game of Thrones lives on so people have that same feeling of home and love for it.”

Christie was joined by fellow castmates Jacob Anderson (Gray Worm), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) and Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark) at the board.

What’s more, fans were pleased it was hosted by Kristian Nairn, who featured as Hodor till season six. In any case, since season seven started only recently, the cast members were tight-lipped. They were not giving much away and were talking principally around their characters.

Alfie Allen chose to carry his puppy to Comic-Con, which was very well behaved amid the hour-long panel. Hodor spoke in full sentences!

Sophie Turner got a short boo from the audience when she said she wished she could bring back the insidious Joffrey to the show, simply because she loved working with Jack Gleeson who played him.

Liam Cunningham kidded that a Game of Thrones spin-off show was underway called Better Call Davos.

When asked what new laws they’d make in Westeros in case they were on the throne, Nathalie Emmanuel said she’d give education for everybody and John Bradley wanted Maesters to tidy up “their own stinking” waste.

Isaac Hempstead-Wright wanted a cosy holiday scene for every one of the characters who generally film in chilly spots. This is sufficiently reasonable, because winter has been there for quite a while.

In addition to this, a teaser of what’s to come in episode two this week was shown to the audience and released by HBO not long after.
