Darth Vader’s Helmet And C-3PO’s Head To Be Auctioned.

80 props from the Star Wars franchise including Snowtrooper helmets, Darth Vader’s mask and the head of the iconic C-3PO robot will be auctioned in London on September 26.

These fascinating movie props are a part of a large over 600 piece collection that you can bid for during the Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.



There would be the opportunity to own a small model, movable Y-wing spacecraft which was used in the movie Return of the Jedi. This aircraft was used in the final Galactic battle between the rebel fleet led by LandoCalrissian who was a smuggler turned rebel leader and the Empire to destroy the Death Star II. The spacecraft could fetch anything from £100,000 to 200,000.

There will be three much sought after items from the 1980 film, The Empire Strikes Back: the head of the robot C-3PO (expected to fetch £60,000 to 80,000, an EmpireflexVistaVision camera, valued at £200,000 to 300,000 as well as a Darth Vader helmet which is valued at £30,000 to 50,000.



For those who have tighter spending limits, there is a Snowtrooper helmet from the 2015 movie Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens which could go for anywhere between £20,000 to 30,000. The white snowtrooper helmets were created to protect the Stormtroopers from the icy glare and snow blindness.

This memorabilia is available for public viewing in a free exhibition at the BFI Imax Movie theatre, near Waterloo station. The exhibition which features over 300 of these items is open from 10 am to 9.30 pm, all days from September 7 to 26.
