Looking at the new photo, we feel that Erik Killmonger from the upcoming movie Black Panther has a bone of contention with the new ruler of Wakanda. Two new photographs related to the film have been revealed, and they depict both aspects of T’Challa: King and the warrior.

The first photo shows T’Challa as Black Panther. His suit resembles the one that he had worn in Captain America: Civil War, with some newly added golden tones. He is standing in the front of a Jeep which seems to be hauling some type of metal and looking ahead at something out of frame.

The second photo shows him wearing a royal purple outfit with gold accents. He is standing face to face with Michael B. Jordan’s character Erik Killmonger, who is wearing some metal-plated armor. There is a Dora Milaje, Black Panther’s personal bodyguards, prowling in the background with her hands on her weapons.

The latest photos featured in the fresh issue of Empire Magazine, which also features a shot of T’Challa in action on its cover. Chadwick Boseman’sBlack Panther seems to be in the middle of the detailed fight sequence with Kilmonger, as seen in the movie’s trailers. This close-up of T’Challa shows that his new vibranium suit is vastly different from the earlier one; the Black Panther suit that he is wearing in the cover seems to be lined with tech, which gives a purple glow.

Ryan Coogler has directed Black Panther which is based on a script he jointly wrote with Joe Robert Cole, and the movie features Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Letitia Wright as Shuri, DanaiGurira as Okoye, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue, and Forest Whitaker as Zuri.

Black Panther is scheduled for a global release on Feb 16, 2018.
