Among the several major surprises and alterations that are headed our way with Marvel’s upcoming Avengers: Infinity War crossover, it might appear to be a trivial information that Thor will get a new weapon. We know Thor lost his beloved Mjolnir in his battle against Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, however, spoilers for Infinity War revealed that there is a new weapon that Thor would wield, and now it is possible for you to have a look at it yourself below (Note: You need to click the second photo to find it)!

This proposed LEGO Infinity War set (which looks really legit) is supposed to represent the Thor narrative in Infinity War and would see the God of Thunder join hands with Guardians of the Galaxy’s members Rocket and Groot for a key mission.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead!

We have already learned:

  • When Thanos defeated Loki, he took the Space Stone from his Tesseract. Thor falls through space, ultimately banging into the ship of Guardians of the Galaxy.
  • Thor and a few of the Guardians (Rocket and Groot) visit Nidavellir, the home world of the dwarf blacksmiths who had made Mjolnir.
  • After overcoming some initial resistance, Thor and team need to restart and use the “space forge” to produce a new weapon for the God of Thunder – Jarnbjorn, the mythological axe is the one.

This was revealed a long time back in the leaked concept art of Infinity War, therefore, this is just another bit of information. It is to be seen as how Thor will use Jarnbjorn, but, we are excited to see it.

Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to release on May 4, 2018. Other upcoming MCU films include Black Panther on February 16, 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6, 2018, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel on July 5, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
