DC Universe has completely taken over the broadcast television world courtesy its Arrowverse on The CW. Now DC is getting ready to storm into the streaming arena, but, is it possible that some of the Arrowverse characters will follow it?

During the recent ACE Comic Con Long Island, Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim appeared as a guest and during his panel, a fan raised the topic of Bruce Wayne getting a mention Arrow and asked if there is a possibility of a crossover between the Arrowverse and Titans which will debut on the proposed DC Comics streaming service or whether the show could be based in the same universe.

“Great question, again, above my pay grade,” Guggenheim replied. “I will say this, the one thing I’ve learned is ‘never say never.’ I could not begin to tell you how often we say to each other, ‘We never thought any of this was going to happen. We never thought we’d see all these characters. We never thought there’d be a universe.’

“So, never say never, but in terms of which characters be on which shows, what’s part of the universe, above my paygrade and probably that’s a good thing.”

There is one character that has really been generating interest, and that’s Deathstroke. The ruthless mercenary has earlier featured as an enemy of Oliver Queen on Arrow, however, in the comics, he was a character designed to be the villain in Teen Titans, which leads to some of us wondering whether Manu Bennett’s version of the character would be a part of the Titans. Bennett responded to that question at another recent convention.

“There’s been no discussion about that,” Bennett said during a panel. “And I don’t know. The power’s in the pen, that’s all I can say about that. I really have no idea. The power’s in the pen, and in the audience saying what they want.”

DC Comics had just a short while back unveiled the first look at Brenton Thwaites in his garb of Robin aka Dick Grayson. Robin’s appearance in Titans seen in the light of Bruce Wayne getting mentioned in Arrow is bound to cause a great deal of speculation in the coming months.

Titans is slated to debut in 2018.
