Alec Guinness was the rock a large number of the Star Wars cast leaned on amid the extensive shoot in 1976. Being the quintessential expert, Guinness never grumbled. However, he admitted that he was confounded by the film now and again amid production as the, cast members have said in earlier interviews. Furthermore, it appears the Oscar-winning performing artist had an incredible comical inclination, as well.

As it is, Mark Hamill once recounted a story to Johnny Carson in an interview uncovered by Heat Vision about Guinness playing a joke on an extra named Jack, who was continually busting other individuals’ chops. Jack depicted one of the Jawas and was an insult comedian by profession.

Hamill told Carson,

“He would always insult you. You couldn’t even get a joke in because he was just too funny.”

He further added that Guinness “really helped me get this guy.”

Hamill clarified that Jack disclosed to him that he was in awe of working with Guinness, whom he had significant regard for. Jack even guaranteed that he and Guinness had a decent compatibility and Hamill trusted him. This was until the point that Jack uncovered it to be a joke when Jack said he and Guinness were so close they were on talking terms. (As Jack said it, Guinness hollered at him to “get out of the way” when they were on a plane … not precisely a cozy relationship.)

Hamill revealed to Guinness that snippet of information and the incredible on-screen character took it from that point forward.

Hamill further said;

“Two weeks later, we’re in the desert again. It’s complete open wilderness. You could walk with your eyes closed and never fall down. And Jack is sitting on his rock, reading a book, and Guinness started very slowly walking towards Jack. Guinness had the hood on … he then pulled the hood back and said, ‘Get out of my way! Get out!'”

Hamill recalled that this shocked Jack and he was shaking.

Hamill then said;

“Jack said to me, I have to hand it to you, when you play a practical joke, you get the best talented people in England.”

Hamill plays Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi which is to release on 15th Dec.
