It is incredible as to what lengths actors go to embody particular roles. It is more difficult when the role is challenging and requires stunt work, stamina and strength. When actors are chosen for superhero roles, it is difficult because they have to do justice to the characters. No one will be intimidated by a lanky Batman, and actors have to step up the game if they do not want fanboys tearing them apart.




15. RYAN REYNOLDS

Ryan Reynolds for Blade: Trinity where had put on 25 lbs of muscle after working out six days a week for 3 months and following a 3,200 calorie diet.

14. SCARLETT JOHANSSON

Her trainer, Bobby Strom made a seven day a week, 90-minute circuit training regimen. She trained in MMA and weapons handling to ensure that her character looked convincing on screen.

She followed the Ramona Braganza’s 3-2-1 workout routine. Her work paid off as she was able to slip on her catsuit with ease and audiences had no problem believing that she was a cat burglar.

 The workouts focused on heavy compound lifts and circuit training with a day of cardio and abs. Evans had Saturdays off, and on Sundays, he would focus on any muscle group that may not be as developed as the rest of his body.

Bale was down to about 120 lbs. He gained 100 lbs in six months. Aside from a work out, ate every two to three hours to ensure that he would make weight.
