The DC Cinematic movie universe has just received its first critically successful film via Wonder Woman. Before WW all the DCU movies did amazingly well financially, but they were a huge flop in the eyes of critics. On the other hand, DC’s cinematic movies are always mind-blowing, in fact, the Suicide Squad’s Animated movie was way better than the live action. Some of the fans suggested that they would repay to watch the live-action version of Suicide Squad: Arkham Assault if DC decides to make it.

Marvel is dominating the BOX-OFFICE with their live-action movies, but they are nowhere near the class or the quality of the DC’s Animated films. All of this started with the three times Emmy Award Winning “Batman: The Animated Series” of the 90’s. That show infected the whole world with the Batman craze and proved that Animated series could be as good as any live-action movie out there.

1) Gotham By Gaslight

And, if you are one of those millions of DC Animated movie fan then you are in for a delight because DC Entertainment and Warner Bros have announced a lot of great DC animation content during San Diego Comic Con. The first one is going to be Gotham By Gaslight, which was confirmed earlier this month. It is based on the iconic graphic novel from DC’s Elseworld stories released by the same name. Brian Augustyn wrote it, and the artist behind this critically acclaimed novel was legendary Mike Mignola, who is also the father of “HELLBOY” as well. The story of Gotham By Gaslight is based in the 19th century, where Batman grapples with the hideous serial clear “Jack The Ripper.” They haven’t shared the release date, but we guess it to be somewhere near the end of this year.

2) Suicide Squad

The second one is Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay, this film will be set in the same universe as the Arkham games and the fan favorite Suicide Squad: Assault On Arkham Animated film (2014). Rumor has it that DC is getting an impressive voice-over cast for this movie. This movie is also set to release sometime in 2017.

3) Death Of Superman & Reign Of Supermen

And in 2018, the epic story of Superman from comic book world “Death Of Superman” will be adapted into an animated movie. In the comics, Superman dies after intense battle with Doomsday, and then various versions of Superman come out to replace him. This story will be broken down into two movies. They will be called “Death of Superman” and “Reign Of The Supermen.” Back in 2008, DC had released a loosely based Animated film on the same concept Superman: Doomsday, but its story was too simplified so that it can be crushed into a 70 minutes movie. But this time around we will get a faithful adaptation of the source.
